Job summary – To manage and maintain the production outputs as directed by the site Production Manager, ensuring that all hourly targets are met. Gathering and monitoring of data to assist in KPI reporting. Ensuring adherence to all Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Co-ordinate with Production Management the efficient utilisation of resources, including manpower and machinery
- Support the multi-skilling of team members by Identifying any additional training needs and ensure they are carried out effectively.
- Ensure Material Readiness
- Production Administration duties.
- Management of people, including absenteeism, sickness, holiday, etc
- Actively promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Promote a positive working environment.
Experience
- High Volume Manufacturing experience required
- Leading teams and managing people essential
- Computer literate to include Microsoft packages
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
